I will be giving a complex cataract surgery talk to Bendigo optometrists and GP’s on Wednesday 26th March at the Wine Bank.
This talk will look at cataract surgery in patients with co-morbidities such as diabetes, PXF, glaucoma etc.
I will also discuss the role of laser cataract surgery in these patients.
The talk is by invitation only and will attract CPD points
I will be providing a new cataract service in Bendigo commencing next week. This service will be exclusively for patients requiring cataract surgery and also for those who wish to have laser vision correction.
At present there is no facility to provide laser cataract in Bendigo, but patients who which to avail themselves of this technology can be seen in Bendigo and travel to East Melbourne to have it done.
To my knowledge, there is no eye surgeon in Bendigo offering laser cataract surgery at present.
